Bright Lotus Villa

Bright Lotus is a private villa on the edge of Ao Nang, set apart from its neighbours on its own walled plot with a limestone karst rising directly behind the garden. The beach is about seven minutes by car or bike — close enough for a morning swim, far enough that evenings here are genuinely still.

The villa is built for groups. Seven bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, so nobody is queuing or negotiating. Six have king beds and the seventh a queen, sleeping fourteen in total. Inside it is finished in marble and pale timber, with a double-height entrance hall and a staircase that most guests photograph before they have put their bags down.

Outside, a long pool runs the length of the house with sun loungers along the deck, and a separate covered sala sits out in the garden over a lotus pond — the shaded spot where most groups end up eating, playing cards, and staying long after the light has gone.

The kitchen is a proper one, with an island and seating, and the dining table seats fourteen without anyone perching on the end. There is a separate living room off the pool and, upstairs, a glass-walled sitting room looking into the rubber trees. Fibre Wi-Fi throughout and a smart TV in every room.

Guests have the run of the entire property. Housekeeping comes every three days to clean and change linens and towels.
