What we collect

When you book, we collect your name, email address, phone number, country and your stay dates. When you send an enquiry, we collect whatever you put in the form. That is all we ask for, and we do not ask for more than we need to host you.

We never see or store your card number. Card details go directly from your browser to our payment provider, who returns only a token and a result.

What we use it for

  • Taking and confirming your booking
  • Sending your confirmation, directions and arrival details
  • Answering your questions
  • Inviting you to review your stay afterwards
  • Meeting Thai record-keeping requirements for guest stays

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the booking: our payment provider, our email provider, and our hosting provider. Each sees only what it needs. If you book through Airbnb or another platform, that platform has its own policy covering what it holds.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as Thai tax and accommodation law requires, then deleted. Enquiries that do not turn into bookings are deleted within a year.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to bookings@brightlotusvilla.com and we will respond within thirty days. Some booking records must be kept for legal reasons even after a request to delete.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only data stored in your browser is what is needed for the booking process to work.
